Skater Migration 2027
Feb 18–21, 2027 · Miami Beach · 11th year
Four days of skating Miami together
Skater Migration is the biggest recreational skate event in the US — and Miami's original. Every February, skaters fly in from all over the country and abroad for a winter getaway on wheels: night skates through the city, a long Saturday fun skate, yoga, an expo, a raffle and an afterparty.
It's about enjoying the city together, not racing. All wheel types are welcome, and so are cyclists who give skaters room.
All wheel types welcome.

Not for beginners — and that's on purpose
These are group street skates, day and night, with bridges, hills, signals and rough pavement. If you're still working on your stops, ride along on a bike this year and come skate it the next.
- Comfortable skating in a group on city streets, day or night
- Can stop and turn on any terrain, hills included
- At least 15 miles in the legs — bridges, signals and rough pavement included
- Follows traffic laws
- Beginners are welcome to ride along on a bike instead.

- Everyone signs a waiver and wears a wristband.
- Helmets and wrist guards are required. Full protective gear is strongly recommended.
- Blinkies are required on night skates. Reflective clothing and headlamps are a good idea.
